Gold price up by Rs 800

The price of gold has increased by Rs. 800 per tola in the local market today as compared to Friday and reached Rs. 54,800. It was Rs. 54,000 per tola on Friday.

Chairman of the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (NEGOSIDA), Maniratna Shakya, said that the gold price increased today following the international trend.

Similarly, the worked gold traded at Rs. 54,550 per tola today, according to the NEGOSIDA. It also increased by Rs. 800 per tola as compared to its price Friday.  Likewise, price of silver has increased by Rs. 5 per tola and the NEGOSIDA has fixed its price at Rs. 865 per tola.
