ALERT: DO NOT CALL JENNIFER LOPEZ A COUGAR

In her new movie, The Boy Next Door, Jennifer Lopez plays a woman seduced by a 19-year-old. But don’t go throwing around the word “cougar.”

Ellen DeGeneres grilled her about a possible relationship with her 27-year-old co-star, Ryan Guzman, since they walked the red carpet at the Golden Globes together. But Lopez, 45, shrugged off the rumors, saying they were simply promoting the movie together.

She claims she doesn’t even know if he has a girlfriend at the moment. “I’m not in his business like that!” she joked. “Not yet,” Ellen retorted, pointing to a picture of Guzman shirtless.

But even if they were dating, Lopez doesn’t need any of your judgment, thank you very much. “I hate that they have, like, a label for a woman who would date a younger guy,” she said. “If a younger guy is interested in you, what’s the big deal?”

Lopez has dealt with this before, when she dated Casper Smart for more than two years; Smart is the same age as Guzman. “There’s just a little bit of an imbalance there, [and it’s] not fair,” she said.
