There are a lot of under-eye creams. Night cream should be dabbed after applying. Leaving heavy cream on your eyes might result in puffiness.
Like other cosmetics, once you use it, it’s mandatory to cleanse it. Mascara brings dryness to your lashes; hence they should be washed every night. Once the tube is open, it shouldn’t be used after six months.
Like any organ, the eyes also need rest. Soothe your eyes with a rejuvenating self eye massage that increases eye area circulation:
1.Keeping your eyes closed, use your middle finger to massage the eye socket bones and down to the bridge of the nose. Repeat 8-10 times.
2.Press on the pressure points just under the brow bone below the inner eyebrows and count to 10
3.Press at temples and do the same.
4. Using your thumbs, gently press on the area right above the inner corner of the eyes where the crease of your lid begins. Press slowly and release. Repeat 4-5 times.
5. Using your middle fingers, massage the hollow area which is located in the temples on the side of your face using up and down motion. Continue this for a minute.
6. Using the tips of your index fingers, gently massage the area located in the back of the skull, directly behind the eyes. Continue to massage the area for a minute.
Women are not unfamiliar with the word mascara, a cosmetic commonly used to enhance and open the eyes. It makes eyelashes longer, making your eyes look more awake. Your eyes pop out and make your presence loud. Your eyes define your mood, so let it be a mystery.
According to Dolly Singh, proprietor of Dolly’s Creation, “Ultra black mascara is most suitable for Asian eyes. However, do not ever compromise with your eye makeup; be aware of the chemicals used as the skin around the eyes is very thin. If not cared for properly, one might get a wrinkle even at the age of 25.” Ultra blue mascara from Sephora tops her list, followed by Kohl’s eyeliner. For thin eyelashes, one should use a thicker one. Mascara is basically of three types: thickening, volumizing, and curling. Sephora comes with all three in one.
