Former Prime Minister Sushil Koirala passed away at 77

Late Sushil Koirala (1939 – 2016) Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala breathed his last in the early hours of Tuesday morning, succumbing to Pneumonia, according to family sources. He was 77. Nepali Congress followers outside Koirala residence upon hearing of the sad news. He was lost to Pneumonia at 12:50 am, said Koirala’s private secretary Atul Koirala. He was suffering Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and he succumbed to the condition. After the news of Koirala’s death, Kathmandu based Nepali Congress rushed to his residence.
